My passion for aviation began in the early 1980’s flying around the Pacific Northwest with my father. Today, whether flying with my brother in the Idaho backcountry, or float planes in Papua New Guinea with my friend Mark Palm of Samaritan Aviation, I love everything about aviation! After 20 years of teaching and producing documentary films around the world I decided to follow my dream of becoming a professional pilot.

I was given the call sign ‘Sherpa’ because of my Norwegian heritage and passion for the mountains. It was fitting to name this endeavor the same because a sherpas roll is to help others reach their summit.
